Karen Tamaki creates images for her clients combining photo-journalism and classic wedding posing and lighting techniques. Karen works closely with her clients from engagement sitting and photo day scheduling all the way through to the wedding day coverage and design and delivery of the album. This continuity assures personal care and attention only possible when you work closely with your personal photographer.

Karen has created images at hundreds of weddings and portrait sites in the SF Bay Area. She has built a strong client base through referrals. Karen has a B.A. in photography and is comfortable shooting a balance of photo-journalism and traditional wedding styles. We offer a wide range of packages from coverage only with hi-res files on CD to packages including custom designed albums in coffee-table style or traditional matted albums.

Extensive experience at most of the premier sites in the Bay Area including the historic Los Gatos Opera House, Byington Winery, Guglielmo Winery, San Jose Fairmont Hotel, Santa Clara Mission, San Jose Buddhist Church and Stanford University. We have worked at many churches and reception sites in the area. Karen works with her clients from first appointment through pre-wedding consultation, engagement portrait, wedding and album design.
